Pedal Through Pinot Paradise
Vista Hills has teamed up with the Bike Gallery for a scenic ride through Oregon wine country. The roughly fifty-mile trek will begin and finish at Vista Hills Vineyard & Winery. Wines and food - a lunch catered by Olive You - will greet riders at the Treehouse Tasting Room, the course's end. Get out of your car and onto your bike and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the Valley. The ride and meal is $55, with the proceeds going towards the Children's Heart Foundation. Menu (July 20, 2008)
Salad - Red and Yellow Beets, Roasted Hazelnut and Oregon Blue Cheese. Arugula and Summer Greens. Hazelnut Oil and Citrus Vinaigrette.
Entree - Grilled Tuscan Chicken with Sun Dried Tomato Marinade and Fresh Tomato Relish with Purple Basil. Mediterranean Pasta Salad with Ragout of Fresh Seasonal Vegetables and Red Onion and Garlic Focaccia.
Dessert - Chilled Lemon Souffle with Warm Blueberry Caviar and French Roast Coffee.
