Harvest in Full Swing

Vista Hills Vineyard Grapes Ripe For The Picking

Resident vines are producing good looking fruit this year and picking has begun. We started with the Pinot Gris and are gradually getting to the Pinot Noir. A long winter and shifty summer weather have pushed harvest back a bit later than average, but our winemakers and vineyard mannagement team are all praise for what appears to be an exceptional 2008 vintage.

Fall is a wonderful time to be in wine country. The changing leaves signal the beginning of the proccess we've been waiting all year for: The transition from crop to wine.
